~Carolynn asked a question to clarify some things about the glamping domes she was under the impression after the discussion with Jeremy Simmons that they would not be seen form the road. Dave has spoken to Josh about them and it sounds like the domes will be painted. Land Use P&Z recommends to TC for approval conditional use -county gives 4yrs on conditional use and if conditions aren’t met it is revoked.
- Kathryn Bolz -Capitol Reef Inn Discussionwas had about future proposed plans, will keep the 10 motel units add 3 “tiny homes”- zip kits with 3-4 exterior options, 2 are studio units & 2 are 2 bed 2 bath. Then later add 4 more total of 7 units (23 rooms). Suggestion was made by P&Z to call them “cabins” rather than “tiny homes” the public will receive this idea better. Septic will be redesigned. P&Z needs a detailed Demo plan and parking plan 1 parking spot per bedroom and one parking per employee. P&Z asked about old gas tanks and if an environmental study soil test has been performed. 8) Town Council’s direction based on survey results Mickey was reviewing Dave’s spreadsheet of survey results that created the results that were shared with the public. 2-}current conditions & goals 9) General Plan -divide & conquer? Janet discussed the role of the General Plan *reflection of community’s values.
